Hmm -- since GLWS is an acronym associated with selling, I'd suggest you not assume that we are familiar with the term. Rather than forcing people to have to Google the definition, please edit your post and spell out the meaning!

Ditto - as Tony wisely points out, I would go that route. To be honest I'm not up any every acronym and don't have a clue about your subject.

Good for you! Now, it's just a question as to whether this section will get views by folks that will have an opinion about this, or maybe some other section. I don't have a clue, but maybe a mod will see this and have a proper response...

Well it's just that I know how hard it is to sell gear at the price you really want to sell it at, and I believe if I give out good Karma to the other sales, then maybe, just maybe, someone will come around and do the same for me.

Any post that is not a response to buy the item offered is considered to be Off topic Chit Chat.

All price comments (good or bad) or suitability comments are unacceptable.

If you are not going to buy the item offered then do not post.

I particularly agree with that - unless somebody is interested in buying an item, I don't understand what right anybody else has to interfere.

Well, I would say close to 50% of the posts in the sell forum are GLWS or I wish I had the money or something else that has nothing to do with the item for sale. It is usually the same members that do it on almost every item posted.

Yup... douchebagerinos whose sole interest appears to be to pad their post counts? Or folks who can't pass through a single thread without posting some inane blurb? *cough* :D

I have no issues with GLWS if you say something else that is positive in some ways e.g. I have this lens and it rocks or I have bought from this seller before and he/she is good etc. but I absolutely hate "I wish I had the money" because sometimes I am selling 50mm f1.8 and I get this ?!?? Of course all that is against forum policy and unnecessarily crap the sale thread.

I never had problems with people saying it because it might show others (who are sitting on the fence) that there is interest. Then again, what do I know...
