Langley AFB.......air show featuring the Thunderbirds

Ventured up to Hampton VA on Saturday, to see the air show. Sky was horrible to shoot pics, since the sun was crucial at times....and the clouds were changing constantly. There was a haze throughout all day too. Either way, I managed a few decent shots.

Nice shots, real nice! Numbers 3 & 5 are my favorites.

Yes, #3 is exceptional. The rest are pretty good...but I will quickly forget about them. But not #3, it will haunt my dreams.

They indeed do. It was quite awesome to see the plane with their paint scheme in the air, especially after having just recently heard their story on a special on the History channel. And one of the Airmen was there too, to boot. I heard he even sang God Bless America on Sunday, with the plane in the air behind him. :cool:
