Thanks, rbro.
It is interesting that you associated this old house with Steinbeck's work. Thanks for reminding me...

Love it!
For some reason I picture Dorothy and Toto inside.
LOL, someone else told me the same about Dorothy, Toto, and this house. Funny... Thanks for the comment!
Thanks, David!

Mark II and great composition and lighting- cannot go wrong. What a great shot!
I agree that having a Canon 5D Mark II camera makes a big difference. I always say that there is something very special about that camera.
Thanks for the comment.

Shooting the same place again and again is great.
Then it becomes more about the light, composition and moment, not just the subject.
Purple clouds!
I agree with this too. It is interesting to see how one same place changes depending on a season and the light angle. This place was quite different a few months ago when I took pictures of it... Thanks!

Nice, I'm sure you only get skies like that in the States!
I would go for a 12x6 crop, as the sky is pretty much the same throughout. It would have more impact I feel.
Thank you for the suggestion and the comment - I will try to crop the picture to see what I get.

You found my house... I love it. I want it. Terrific picture
It is indeed a neat place, Clayton. The open field and big sky give a sense of the space for sure. Thanks for the comment!
