There was a Chicago DJ a few years back that took a road trip with his kids. Rt66 from Chicago to Cali keeping to the historic route as much as possible. It's a trip I would love to take one day.
That sounds like a great road trip!

It does. I would prefer a nice soft tail rather than the convertible, but that's just me. It might be cool to take it on a bicycle as well. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

On 66 i wouldn't choose it -Omar- Flickr

Yeah she isnt scared by it but we will know more the first time out. That will be the true test. She loves the frame on her bike but the warped rear rim gives us a chance to get rid of those stock ones. We will keep the tires and tubes since they are good and the front wheel as well for back up. Thinking of getting her some aero wheels with black and white tires -Omar- Flickr

A convertible would be nice, but a motorcycle would be better! I have a good friend who did Rt 66 (what's left of it) from San Bernardino to Chicago on his bike. I was so jealous. He stretched it out into a 4 week trip with lots of side trips. gjl711 wrote in post #12633217 It does. I would prefer a nice soft tail rather than the convertible, but that's just me. It might be cool to take it on a bicycle as well. I'll be up for this in about 2 years. Get that soft tail ready! We can ride together. No worries. I got distracted shortly after that trying to find our new kitten. Seems she crawled into the pantry without my wife noticing her. The wife closed the pantry, went outside for something, and about 1/2 hour later got all worried when the kitten was "missing." So we spent an hour looking all over the place for the "lost" kitten before we found her sleeping under a shelf in the pantry.
