Storm update: The worst is over, now just the torrential rains. 3 inches so far and still going.

Them storms are almost upon us here! LOTS of lightning to the south (all in the clouds, nothing good for picture making) and the radar is purple

Yea, we got the purple rain. 4" total in about an hour.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I have a feeling that they messed up by making the package so cheap. They said it was on back order and asked it I wanted to keep the order or buy it from another site (for more $$) I told them to keep the order. Sure sounds like a bait and switch to me. They have to 6/29, from there i think a call is in order.

Well, we're in the "purple" right now. Wind, hail, torrential downpour, and lots of lightning and thunder. I tried for some lightning shots as it was moving in, but it's too cloudy. Never really saw any bolts :( Someday I'll have to go park myself up by the lake when there's a storm out there and shoot some lightning there.

These are my best lightning shots. Shot from my garage. Unfortunately, we, like you, have lots of lightning but most of the time it is so cloudy that all I get is glowing clouds and no bolts.

Well we got lots of rain! And there was lots of lightning, it was just all hidden in the clouds. I got several shots of glowing clouds...

The weather has been weird this year. Typically the storms would come in off of the lake, but this year they have been coming from the south, south-west.

Yup, it poured here today. Must've gotten a two feet of rain. That was just before the snow started. Really cold, too. We have a fire going in the fireplace, and we're snuggled up with a nice warm blanket, drinking hot chocolate.

NOT

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
