Yup, it poured here today. Must've gotten a two feet of rain. That was just before the snow started. Really cold, too. We have a fire going in the fireplace, and we're snuggled up with a nice warm blanket, drinking hot chocolate.

Heh! Tom, it's time to turn down the air conditioner and cut down on the meds:)!

I'd love it. I've only been there a couple times, but every trip was memorable (in an enjoyable way).

You could be like the snowbirds, winter in the south and summer in the north! And for fun you could ride the train from one coast to another. I hear the trip through the Rockies is particularly wonderful :D

Wait a minute. Didn't LA have some tornados this spring?

Did we? I don't remember that. Then again, I almost never watch the news, so I could have easily missed it.

Nice lightning shots!

Add an Algoma Central Railway trip to your list.

Well.....since I'll never be able to afford another train trip anywhere....I'll just have to settle for playing with flahrs. Two new varieties of lily flowered today.

Hi Tom. I just did a search on your zip code. Seems to be a lot of baby boomers in your area. :)

Interesting. I'm right on the cusp of the curve for men, and the property values are very close to what we've experienced.

I was more interested in the residents age. :)

That would be me. I'll be 69 in a couple months, and that's just about the peak age here. It starts falling off right about 70. I guess all my contemporaries are starting to croak.

You definitely live in a nice area. All the homes I see are nice! :)

We like it a lot. Most of the people here own two or more houses and just come here to play golf. There's a lot of money here (present company excluded). For example, our next door neighbor is a retired president of a division of Johnson & Johnson. The people across the street own a very successful restaurant, and the couple caddy corner to us owns two Roll Royces (both given to them by the wife's brother who owns Montana Rail Link). I heard not long ago that the average household income is around $200K.

We don't belong here. :o:o:o:o
