There was a nice chunk of alternative transportation at AirVenture this year. Roadable Planes / Flyable Cars, Electric, Ultra-simple homebuilt aircraft. There's always one or two nice surprises every year.

AFAIK, both the NHTSA and the FAA have both given their blessings...

Very cool thing to see even if it weren't flying... They took this one (wings in tow) plus a few modern variations (one's a Jeep with a parafoil stored in the roof) down to a local drive-in joint for burgers and shakes. Turned a helluva lot of heads!

What a jeep version? :lol: ! Mayra loved the images :D
