It's kind of what you have set up but a much lighter version. It's put out by Google and iIt does display the map of your route, show elevation change and time and such. It uses both cell towers and GPS to record position info and seems to be pretty accurate, (at least to 9 meters).

That is pretty cool. I would be interested if you had time to post something up of it :D Im always looking to see how others go about things. :)

Here is a link to yesterdays ride that i did.

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/105036625 (external link)

If you click on "player" on the right side above the map next to "details, split". You can see all the live data which was recorded as i went through my ride. Interesting stuff. Im a numbers guy so this really gets my attention :lol:

There's nothing subtle about Sean Tucker or his act... :lol:

That has to be the understatement of the decade...

Yeah...

They perform with Randy Harris and Gary Ward as "Team Chaos" and they do a Plane Vs Truck race with a wall of fire as their finale but...

<Shrug>

I can think of a couple of airshows that I used to attend that died a slow death after they tried to draw the non-airshow crowd with Metal Mullisha, Monster Trucks, etc...

Seeing a wheeled vehicle at an airshow leaves me feeling like I've been visited by that cat that predicts when people are going to die. To me it says "We can't put on enough of a true airshow to make a go of it so we'd better lower the beer prices and bring in terrestrial entertainment..."

They did that at the air show at NAF El Centro. The previous CO felt the whole purpose of the air show was to showcase Naval Aviation but his successor thought the show should be used as a recruiting tool and brought in Metal Mulisha and other acts to attract the young crowd.

When you post stuff like this, it makes me want to hang up my cameras for good... This is just excellent!
