I get really picky when I'm doing a build or re-build. I want everything to install flawlessly and usually after windows and I'm doing some driver, it will tank and error. I re-install it and all goes well but I'm really bugged and many times will start the installation from scratch just so it all goes flawlessly.

I've never seen anything like this though.

The install is just really really laggy. Well it's actually just the "Starting Windows" screen. It's bizarre...

No snow, no people, no traffic, no noise.....not much of anything at all beyond scorpions and rattlers.

Umm.... no. I want snow!

I'm done with it. I need beaches, bikinis, sun and fun. No more snow, parkas and Kennys for me.

I hate sand. Snow, parkas, and Kennys are good for me :D

I have one. It will not handle 24" of wet snow and I have a pretty big one. My neighbor tried using his but gave up after an hour or so.

That's what a tractor is for! Neighbour has a back-hoe.

To 110 in the summer and 95 in the "winter"? No thanks. That's Hell.

Give me somewhere I won't melt, thank you very much. Not too big on things with poisonous probes they want to sink into me . . .

Agreed!

Fun in the snow!!!

That is strange. On a fresh install win startup should be at it's fastest.

I did have a problem once where windows kept crashing on install but always in a different location. What I found was that the processor I had did not like running at the factory default voltage. Once I bumped up the proc voltage all the crashed disappeared and it's been running flawlessly ever since. Maybe you have something similar happening. Laggy usually means something is either waiting or re-reading.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Sitting in a snowdrift with a beer gets old real fast.
