Hi guys :D

Dan/Omar - we're off to Rochester this weekend. I-90 is shut between Schenectady (sp?) and Syracuse because of the tropical rains and flooding!!! What a nightmare that will be. Will have to add another 60miles by going I-88 via Bingampton!

Detour on I-88 too....you have to get off on Route 7 for a couple exits.....in Schoharie County. Depending on your actual final destination, it might be quicker to go west on I-86/STE to I-390 in to Rochester.

Yeah...well, we need to be on the east part of rochester, so up 81 to syracuse is okay.

They just reopened eastbound, but westbound is shut. lots of roads between are shut too. sinkholes and bridges out galore.

UPDATE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC I-90 EXIT 25A-EXIT 30 WB
Remains closed to traffic, severe flooding I-90 - NYS Thruway from milepost 158.8 to 219.7 between exit 25A (Schenectady/I-88) and exit 30 (Herkimer) is closed WESTBOUND. Expect severe delays approaching the closure area. Motorists are advised to avoid this region and to seek alternate routes.

REOPENED TO TRAFFIC I-90 EXIT 34A-EXIT 25A
The Thruway has been REOPENED to traffic on I-90 EASTBOUND between Exit 34A (Collamer) to Exit 25A (Schenectady/I-88).
