A bit better. Leave some more of the sky so the image isnt smack in the middle. That sky had nice stars in the first shot :D

Use a 2:1 crop ratio......that will keep the horizon off dead center.

There is a technical term for how the water does this on smooth surfaces...i'll have to check it up:

well, that is just the flow of water, with zero turbulence. The structure also has to be perfectly level, and perfectly round, in order to have everything uniform. But for the water to "split" like that on a smooth surface, constantly around the structure...there is a name for it....
