Great shot Jay. I guess with the shutter speed you could work out the RPM of the engine from the blurred prop.

Running very well. Still scratching my head over what the heck I did wrong with Lightroom but it is what it is. Performance Vs Old PC is through the roof. Can't thank Nick enough for his efforts on my behalf. Way above and beyond!

I'm not so particular about it but some guys will actually try to figure the RPM Vs Blades Vs Distance Vs Time in order to get exactly the right shutter speed that will achieve a full arc. It's particularly vexing with two-bladed helicopters which have much lower RPM involved.

Yeah, what JD said... How's the boy?

Been 6 weeks today since the surgery, back to the specialist next Thurs and he should have the ok to start to putting weight on it again from then. Been to the physiotherapist twice a week for the last few weeks and has the 90deg movement back. Champing at the bit to ditch the crutches.

Got my 3.4.1 as well as the new version of ACR for CS5, et al...

We've got a guy in our AZ Aviation group who does the most killer edits. All his stuff has a "zing" and "pop" that I think I'm lacking. His metal looks much more metallic and his canopies look nearly polished and crystalline. I need to step up my game!

In search of improvement, I downloaded the demo of NIK Viveza. Interesting software. I tried it on a couple of images. I can see the adjustment areas being very powerful tools. Anyone else have it?? Worth two bills?

I'll look for any stray responses later. Out for the night. :D

Hey Jay, quick response. I've used Viveza a little bit but not a lot. Useful in the way you mention.

I had the demo version, and would have bought it, but two bills just isn't in my software budget. It's a very useful program.

Watching the footy and Qld just scored their second try. So both Trace and I yell out YES, Morgan who is asleep in bed answers no - while she was asleep.
