Hi everyone,

I keep hearing about Newegg.com from our buddies over in the US. It seems they have a good selection and great prices for components if you want to put together your own workstation. I live in Italy and in-store prices here are crap. I don't know of any online retailers similar to Newegg.

So far I've found these:

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ (external link)

Does anyone have experience with these sellers, or can anyone suggest other online retailers that ship within the EU? I know a lot of retailers in the UK ship to EU countries as well with a little extra shipping cost.

Thanks in advance!

I used to buy parts from overclockers. They are good except for the shipping costs (they use DHL mostly).

Their prices aren't bad. Anyone familiar with them?

Microdirect are good - not sure about ordering online but collecting from them is easy and they are helpful on the counter - if they don't have an item in stock they will suggest a viable replacement and not just the more expensive option.

Thanks for the extra suggestions! This helps a lot in comparing prices for my new system.

Don't know about microdirect, as I only tend too deal with on-line retailers I trust i.e. I have a good history with. Though overclockers is a bit tad on the expensive side
