Can't find +JPEGs

Hey all,

Just got an S95 the other day and while playing around with it before a trip to Florida, I tried plugging the camera in and pulling the pics off of the card. I'm shooting in RAW +JPEG (the S95 is my new underwater rig) and the JPEG is not showing up on the card. If I take one pic in the RAW +JPEG mode, two pics show up on the card, but they're both 11mb and one has the .cr2 extension (the other has no extension). If I go into the camera and delete only the RAW, then the 500k JPEG shows up fine on the card. If I take only a JPEG, the JPEG shows up and if I take only a RAW, then the RAW shows up fine...it's only the RAW +JPEG that is giving me issues.

Am I missing something somewhere?

As a side, I prefer to not use the bundled software. I usually use Photoshop for my editing and running between programs starts getting obnoxious. I'm really just trying to get them off of the camera and onto a storage device (netbook, tablet, etc) so I can clear the card for diving the next day...but still review the pics with the JPEGs.

Usually this is the case of your Image transfer software not being able to figure out what to do with RAW and JPEG of the same name. I know you said you don't want to use the bundled software, but the included software does work for transferring RAW+JPEG pretty well.

I'm not really using any image transferring software, just plugging the camera in like an external drive. Okay, I solved my own problem. I pulled the card out and used a media reader instead of plugging the camera in. That got it. RAW and it's accompanying JPEG, no issues.
