We have a fountain on our back deck that tends to attract some birds. I know, I know,... it's unsporting to lure birds closer just so you can take their picture.

There is this Spotted Towhee who comes often to take a bath. He really prefers that I stay inside while he bathes, but will tolerate me being out there sometimes. This particular time it was late so I had the flash hooked up, and every time the flash would go off (I took about ten shots) he would look over at me. Finally, he just looked directly at me like he was saying, "Now you've really ticked me off!", and flew away.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I feel a bit guilty using a birdbath to draw the birds to our deck. It's almost like 'bribing them to perform'.
