Help - Pink prints

Canon i9900 w/ Photoshop CSS 5 - all prints have a pink/magenta cast. Not observable on the monitor (HP w2338) - looks good (Spyder calibrated). Print is trash w/ the pink/magenta cast, Help

Hmm, it's hard to say right off the bat. It could be a printer problem (as in say a bad ink cartridge or clogged print head) or it could be a problem with the printer profile or it could be a proble with your monitor calibration (or non calibration) giving you the wrong colors leading you to a "bad" color correction...or,...

One thing to check -- when you do a Soft Proof view in Photoshop -- does it look closer to the print or to your "normal" display?

Another thing to check -- try turning off management by Photoshop and turning on managing by the printer -- how does that come out?

You can also try printing from another app and compare the results.

You can also download "known good" images to do tests with.

And, how does a grayscale image print out?

All of these together may help to narrow down where your problem originates, although what a "fix" might be, well, depends!

My printer turns pink when it's low on ink. Look at your cartridge.
