Hehe, yeah. I rarely try doing that anymore, as this thread moves so fast. But it's the weekend, and no one was around spamming when I came back, so I had time to read back a few pages. :)

ROFL steven will be jealous he has not had a beaver song dedicated to him

*sigh* wrote in post #12454628 (external link)
It's almost like it's my Birthday...

I got an unwanted custom user title and had two crappy songs dedicated to me...

wow!!! Congrats man...I wish I have a new title... it could be "On 24 hours" hahaha

ohh me too a day later haha

*sigh* wrote in post #12455310 (external link)
I was tempted... I could get a 70-200 4 IS and a Tokina 11-16 for what Im looking to spend on a bike and related gear... but... yeah :/

DO IT!!

themadman wrote in post #12455325 (external link)
Who needs a bike? CAMERA GEAR!!!

AGREE!!! haha

*sigh* wrote in post #12455334 (external link)
You need to pick up the pace though! You need a 50-100+ post buffer on Steven at all times if you want to stand any chance of beating him.

yeap...make it 300 to be sure hehe

FJ LOVE wrote in post #12455341 (external link)
i've seen steven close a hundred gap in a day

ohhh? against Nick probably haha

*sigh* wrote in post #12455354 (external link)
Yeah.. but if you are riding with other people it's nearly impossible to keep up

Yeah, but he can't really close a gap like that overnight when no one else is here, you just can't get much sleep :p

I can..you know I can haha I like to play with myself

themadman wrote in post #12455356 (external link)
I know... give me something to talk about!

themadman wrote in post #12455359 (external link)

Hey guys, I was in Napa Valley (St Helena) today scoping out a wedding site I will be shooting in June. I took a picture of my car, and you guys thought it was a shop job before!

QUOTED IMAGE

wooot!!!! very nice... I like one in GOlden Yellow

FJ LOVE wrote in post #12455867 (external link)
JD, i had a chat with another shooter in the lighting section tonight about something similar

seems there is an influx of n00bs who have good computer skills and no camera skills

these guys post more threads asking how to do it than learning by researching and practicing

it seems everyone relies on post processing skills to make good images these days

when you get guys asking what their max shutter speed is with their meter instead of looking themselves it gets annoying

so i get what your saying and i try to get it as best in camera as i can, but no one seems to care, fix it in post

hmmmmm..... ever wonder why I keep saying I am bad at PP? hehehe

jdizzle wrote in post #12455922 (external link)
A lot of my know how is from the web. I gave up on reading books bcoz' a lot of them are vague in showing you how.

its so boring... I don't even read magazines haha so bad

jdizzle wrote in post #12455934 (external link)
I'm not a fan either but, you'll appreciate the bigger size when you have five kids.

I like SUV's... specially if I could get my hands on those Tuareg or Cayenne with big tires

jdizzle wrote in post #12455957 (external link)
I avoid those types of threads. People who are new into digital photography expect the magic to happen when they take that image.

good thing you entertained me from the start hehehe :D

FJ LOVE wrote in post #12455985 (external link)
the lighting section is where i like to help out, too many fanboys in cameras and lenses for me

but i've been disappointed by this round of n00bs, they are good with computer skills but won't learn photography

and are rather arrogant when you suggest a little homework may help them and want the exact answer now /rant

that's why you should just teach me... I am better at Raz in following instructions hahaha

Good Morning guys :D
