Why would you need to mod it when you can buy the Canon 24 TS-E MK II?

:lol: there are some limitations on the D700 with the 24 PC-E... how much more with the 24mm TS-E hehe I should check it out :D

can I really mount it with adapters? can't seem to find any reviews

As far as I know, the Canon one is good. Why is the Nikon version limited?

Looks like shimano 105 breaks, carbon fork, def race wheels because of the length on the reflectors.

coz the tilt and shift is perpendicular? not really sure what this means

but Nikon service centers will do the conversion for you if you send it in without voiding warranties... and as that link shows its so freaking easy to do  I dunno why Nikon d not configure it that way in the first place...

Bought :p

It's a 2010 GT GTR Series 1

Specs can be found here (I got a Med = 54cm)
2010 GT GTR Series 1 (external link)

$1400 with 15% off, so $1200 or so before tax. Oh and double reward points on GT so I get 20% back as in store credit. So I just bought pedals/shoes today and I'll buy a helmet and clothing later this weekend once my points hit. I ended up spending around $1650 after tax and some other small stuff, but I should have $300 or so in reward credits, so I have a list of other things to buy.

Pedals (about $100 after discounts)
Shimano Ultegra 6700 Pedals (external link)

Shoes (On Clearance about $100 after discounts :D)
Sidi Zephyrs (external link)

you can do the mod if you find the default positions not to your liking, doing the mod probably makes the arrangement of controls identical to canons TS-E ;)
