Melody you missed a great game, hey the crops are way behind if the fields are still wet, do you plant many acres ?

We didn't get anything planted. Got the corn planter all set up and filled and it started raining. Dad had gone out discing and I ran the tine weeder for awhile, but heavy rain chased us out of the fields. Then, in the pouring rain, we had to rig up the discs so we could get them back to the yard and fix them.

Some stuff can get planted if the fields are somewhat wet, but not when there are puddles still. There are too many things that can go wrong with planting wet... tractor getting stuck, soil compaction, mud clogging the planter, seeds rotting before sprouting, seeds and fertilizer getting wet in the planter. Hopefully we get nice weather soon and then have a long, warm fall.

Julian, what kind of tools and such do you normally take with you on a ride?

Pump, tube, patch kit seems pretty obvious, but anything else?

^Nice! I haven't had a martini in ages.

Thank you, doing these shots does make me start to consider a FF cam though...Im shooting indoors at ISO3200 and the 50 prime is a bit long to use for them...

Here's one more Steven. Using the 24 TS-E MK II and 3 stop hard GND.

QUOTED IMAGE

I can't believe the DOF  just amazing

I don't think most people will notice it except photogs but the first time you showed me what the TS-E can do I did not really understand nor appreciate the huge DOF it can produce

how do you focus on this thing? LV then zoom? always on tripod?

ISO3200, it is approaching the practical limits of the 7D imho...

Sure 6400 is usable too but i only go there as a last resort!
