I am slightly sad that what you suggested might be the only viable way to beat him... he is too mighty... I must discover his weakness!

But Steven, ride that animal safely!

i got money saved up my money now just trying to figure out witch uwa such a hard chocie:confused:

I would say if you have plans of using it on FF 17-40 is a good choice

themadman wrote in post #12436144 (external link)
Not too bad, you have a few choices...

1. Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 HSM - Good price (lowest of the 4 I will list)
2. Tokina 11-16 f2.8 - Has 2.8, limited range, similar price as the Canon
3. Canon 10-22 f3.5-4.5 USM - A tad faster than the Sigma, but costs more as well, has the most range of zoom
4. Sigma 8-16 f4.5-5.6 HSM - Really really wide, more range than the Tokina, costs similar to Canon
All of them have good IQ

for crop looks like Tokina 11-16 is a good hoice hehe

Yes I have, and I'm running out of time! Well I have another month and a half or so... but I need to get used to the filters before my trip.

I'm about to fly out to NC and steal on of Julain's.

yeah I am going to cancel mine... it will have to wait until I get this lens...I am doing fine hand holding my filters for now :D
