What is e difference between using a DIY ligbox for still life and using a white paper background and a couple shoot through umbrellas?

spacetime Goldmember 1,276 posts Joined Oct 2009 More info | May 17, 2011 10:14 | #2 It depends on how you position the lights and the distance to the white paper bg. I imagine with a lightbox you'll have softer shadows and maybe be able to control reflections a bit better.
