Im having a hard time learning what I need to with this program. Is LR more user friendly?

It really comes down to personal preference, but I find Aperture 3 much more to my liking than LR, particularly for its speed and brushes. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

They both offer a way for you to organize your pictures through folders (physical or logical), and they both allow you to develop your RAW images to your liking through the use of sliders or directly entering numeric values. Fewer options, fewer tools, fewer decisions. When you get to the point where you start feeling that you want to do more, move up to Aperture, try LR or invest in a good pixel editor. Elie / אלי

I have a MacBook Pro and Hackintosh PC so I was able to install on two systems for the price of $80 only. I like the integration with the rest of the apple ecosystem.
