Hello all,

The result of my year in Kandahar, Afghanistan is now available to the public. It is a photojournal.

It is a 12x12 Hardcover book with dust jacket, with premium paper, looks very sharp. 82 pages of full spread photographs, with some insights from myself. I'm more of a conversational style writer, and I stuck to my experiences for the text, so it is a fairly easy read. The whole point is the photography though.

In the future only a regular plain paper version will be available but for now only the deluxe hardcover is for sale.

Thanks for looking!

Were you there as a soldier or a photographer?

If so how did you arrange a local fixer and housing for a year?

I was there as a soldier. I wouldn't think I'd have had as much "safe" access to the villages as a wandering westerner, so I'm glad I got to see lots of the parts of the country that I did.

Interesting, and admirable. Will most likely purchase your book as soon as I have some money to spend.

What I could see of it looks pretty nice. Congrats!

I suggest that you keep the option open to offer both versions.

Yes! We are a light cav scout troop. I'm actually an infantryman, but modern army has both MOS mixed in the typical unit.

Hopefully I can help reveal some points of the war that most never get to see, something a bit more uplifting.
