Okay, did MPex always carry Cactus V5s or did they just start? Because I swear I looked there last month when I was buying my gear! I must be going crazy!

No they didn't always, probably just took longer time to get stock. Gadget Infinity was only place I could find in Feb.

Why did you pick this brand over the PHOTTIX STRATO 2.4 GHZ WIRE/WIRELESS 4 IN 1 TRIGGER SET? Phottix works with TTL whereas Cactus V5 doesn't have on-camera TTL.

I have been comparing both brands and can't decide which one to go with. My photo stores don't have demos of either product for me to try 'em. Thus, my question here.

Does anyone know?

I tried going to these peoples website and it tried to download a virus to my computer. Just a warning.

ETA: Dont go to the website called phottixstore. The regular photix website is ok, but the other seems to try to load a virus.

And this unit says it has an ETTL pass through hot shoe, not ETTL for transmitting/receiving

And my Gadget Infinity items take about 4 to 5 days to get here. I pay for the mid grade shipping. I figure it is worth it unless you are getting a stand or umbrella or other large item, then you get gouged pretty bad seems like.
