I recently purchased a 5D MKII at an auction for a steal of a price. The only problem with the camera is a scratch on the LCD screen. About 3/4 of in long an 8th of inch wide. It is white so it is more of a gouge than scratch. Anybody have any idea how I might repair this or make it a little more aesthetic? Not a huge deal, just kind of bugs me.

I think this would be the way to go, or alternatively send it to Canon.

Don't worry about it. It's just aesthetic and after a while you won't even notice it.
It doesn't affect your image.
It won't be the last scratch you get and if you send it to Canon every time it gets a scratch on the LCD protector, it will spend more time at Canon than you will using it.

Bulldog. When your Camera comes back, put on an "Invisible Shield" over the LCD to prevent scratching. I have them on all of my camera to prevent the annoying dings that can happen and also combat that old problem of "nose grease" that is known throughout the site.
Best of all, it's a whopping 20 bucks if that.
