Hi all,

Our 1st-nesters of 2011 have been in the tall trees and mostly out of camera range since their fledging on April 30th. But over the the past week they've begun following their parents down to the deck and we're starting to get some decent closeups of them now. We call this special time the Homecoming... it's a time of great fun and joy for us with each and every nesting.

We don't have a group photo of them all together yet, but they are 3 brothers and 2 sisters:

And here once again are our proud parents Missy and Ben:

Ben is doing most of feeding now btw, because Missy is incubating 6 new blue eggs in her 2nd nest. We hope to have another big batch of hatchlings about this time next week.

We so do love our Bluebirds, and we hope you'll enjoy seeing them too.

Great shots Kenn... always look forward to the first shots of the fledglings... I have great anticipation for the "tray shot" of all 5 ;)... but that 7th shot is awesome.
