Sigma 50mm f1.4 Sigmalux

So...trying to decide between the sigma and the canon...

Just kidding!!

I got my Sigma today and I think I got a good one. I'm surprised how big it is, it dwarfs both the canon 50's!

Here's the first picture I took, sorry, no ducks...but it's at f1.4 and I think it looks good...

Even with that horrible compression, I can tell its focusing correctly :p now go take some proper photos with it.

Did your 50 have the new smooth finish like on the 30s?

Yes, it has the new finish. And yes, that image was heavily compressed. I'm hoping for nice weather this weekend so I can get out with it!
