Shooting this turned out to be much more difficult than I thought.
First off, you can't really shoot a firefighter holding a hose while he/she is facing you. Even if you had a long enough lens to stay dry, you wouldn't see squat but the water.
Second, the intensity of the fire changes rapidly. Its hotter than hell, almost. Your exposure jumps drastically and the composition changes when you factor the fire as a subject.
Fun day though. I was a little heavy handed in LR to impress the muggles. Gives it a nice industrial look.
