I'm looking for a light tripod for use when I'm hiking or going places. My budget is $200-250 including a decent ball head. Please recommend me some tripods!

Also, read this for a better orientation: https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1017625 Regarding the tripods,if you happens to like some, look at their max.height (depending on your size) as to not being dissapointed if you buy one too small. Regards, There are so many models...not sure which one to buy?

Any opinions on this? http://www.manfrotto.com …_/M-Y_CF_BALL_HEAD_TRIPOD That Manfrotto tripod weighs almost 3 pounds but it can only handle up to 7.72 pounds. I would think it would be all right in a pinch but I wouldn't use for anything else besides hiking because it wouldn't be very sturdy especially in the wind. You can buy it from here. http://www.manfrotto.us …ords_pla&m=2747&c=1&o=pla Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III | 17-40mm f/4.0L | 70-200mm f/2.8L USM | 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro | 300mm f/4.0L IS
