Thanks. I just noticed that the horizon in the second one is a little bit crooked. I might try to straighten it up a little bit once I get back to my computer(out of town).

not too bad, but both would look a lot better if you rotated them (which you already noticed) :)

I just used the kit(18-55mm) lens with a 300D.

Great Shots! I really like them both. The light in both is fantastic. Really like the clouds in picture 1.
