Has anyone got this lens already? I'd love to see some pictures, thinking about getting this lens for low light/shallow DOF work.
Thanks

Sharpness is equal to the 35L 's i've used in the past, build quality is even better than the 35L and manual focusing feels silky smooth. Barrell distortion corrected +2.5 in photoshop lens correction. 5Dii, Samyang 35mm f/1.4 UMC | C/Y 35-70/3.4 T* | MPE 65&MT-24EX | 85L II | 135L | 70-200/4L

laxative Member 137 posts Likes: 3 Joined May 2006 Location: Finland More info | Thanks everyone. I don't have a special focusing screen although i really should get one. As funny as it sounds, i've been shooting 85% of my portraits using live view. It actually feels quite natural to me now 5Dii, Samyang 35mm f/1.4 UMC | C/Y 35-70/3.4 T* | MPE 65&MT-24EX | 85L II | 135L | 70-200/4L
