Great shot Dan, love the 100% view - can actually see the surrounding environment in the deers eye - amazing.

I wish i was back there now.

Thank you! This is one lens that I rarely never have to do post processing sharpening for (if I hit the focus correctly).

Playing with this lens at closer distances is great; I tried to do a casual photo shoot with my friend today and most of the pictures were OOF because he was much farther away.

I should get a focusing screen on my 5D2 soon.

Love the colors and lighting on this one.

Time to combine the two haha, beautiful girl + beautiful car = ??

Here is an oldy from my Montreal trip in March, truth be told I could not figure out how to remove the background without making it look believable, so I just left the BG in.

Thanks guys!! and we'll see :p she is fantastic though, a pleasure to work with!

Cam, I actually like the background a lot in that one, it's an intimate feeling photo where you feel like you are hanging out next to him, a blank studio background would ruin that, this makes it more real! nicely done!

Thanks for checking it out! I appreciate it a lot!

I love these pictures you took. Specially that sunset picture.

Thanks! How's the 35/2? 35mm is starting to really grow on me but I'm missing the AF!

I don't regret switching although I might want a 50L instead of the 35L...

McDonald's Japan has the new Chicken Tatsuta Wasabi Tartar burger. It wasn't that bad, but not exactly tasty either.

Meh. Changed my mind. I'm keeping it. I can work with it. I think i'm just being lazy. I can still sell it and get a 35 f2. I just bought a 50L instead.

Haha.

Sad you won't be posting any of your work in here anymore! This last pic is awesome!

I need the AF. Also having this lens and not being able to accurately "meter" is a pain in the ass. MF focusing isn't really much of an issue to me but after a while, it makes my workflow a bit more difficult when i'm shooting. I rather get a tool that will help me perform better than to fight with it. Which is why i opted for the 35L. If they had this damn lens chipped like how the Nikon mount is, i would keep it but sadly that's not the case. Kinda sad because this lens is fantastic optically.

and thanks everyone! had a fun time with this lens for the past few months. time to move on though :).
