I really like this shot!!! Reminds me of Resident Evil. A lot of mystery and uncertainty.

Is this your wife/girlfriend in these shots? She is stunning and you capture her very well!

thanks peter, yes this is my wife kristen... she is a fantastic muse who makes my job of taking pictures very easy! ;)

fantastic, Gilbert. Love your framing, and the way you work the DOF.

Btw, I've been shooting with f stop from 1.4-4 on this lens ever since I got it. A couple of days ago, I tried to go from f4 up to f22, and looks like my copy is stuck at f4. The aperture blades won't close in anymore once I hit f4. The aperture ring is turning fine from 1.4-22 though, just the blades won't move from f4-22. Does anyone has this issue with this lens?
I think I may have gotten a defected copy. hahahahaha.

I've seen reports of aperture sticking issues with the Samyang 85mm f1.4 similar to this, but not with the 35mm f1.4

Here you go! Credit to paradiddleluke.

edit: the link I posted is when the lens is stuck at f/22. I'm not sure if this is the same problem that you're having.

Oh....thank you guys!!!

Yes, in my case, the blades move fine from f1.4-4. However, they stay still once I go from f4-22, but will move fine when I go back to f1.4-4. I have contacted the seller and they are sending me a replacement. I don't want to operate it unless it's out of warranty hahahaha.
Will update.

Thanks again :D.

Beautiful! Did you use a CPL on this shot?

No, it was shot through the window of an aircraft. I did drop the luminance on the blue channels to intensify the sky a bit. Added clarity and saturation. Set white and black point to combat the lack of contrast by shooting through a window... a scratched one at that!
