Hello everyone! I hope someone can help me. Can anyone put up a shot of the mount of the 35mm Samyang? I just need to compare it with the one I have which is in 4/3 mount. I'm thinking of converting it to Canon mount because nobody seems to want to buy mine.

TIA for any replies :)

Awesome! Thanks for that!

Looks like the 4/3 mount has the rear element more recessed. Pfft this is gonna be a messy conversion

I ordered a m42-eos adapter to swap out the 4/3 mount. Looks like there's gonna be some heavy modification to the adapter. Hopefully not the rear element part. I'm going to use it on a 5D that is on the way btw.

what did you use to shim your af chip? I tried a expired credit card, however I was getting inconsistent aperture readings. I.e. It kept switching from "00" to 1.4 just by jiggling the lens when mounted on the camera. I removed it but can't the af chip aligned again.

how far is the af chip from the corner of the mount?

we used a bit of plastic from a tupperware container, i suggest positioning it with another lens next to it so you can see exactly where the contacts should line up, do it in relation to the metal latches, not where you think the camera contacts are

This woman was driving by. I was sitting on the curb with the camera resting on my foot.
