Just purchased this lens a week or so ago and havent taken it off my camera since, I adore this lens! It's fab.

It's surprisingly quite a flexible lens on a crop sensor too. A little too telephone for landscapes but you can just about get away with it.

It does admittedly take a while to get used to manual focus etc but im getting there. It's rather difficult through the tiny viewfinder on my 550D, good fun though

do you guys buy the canon mount or the chipped-nikon mount and use an adapter?

Buying the more expensive AE Nikon one is pointless, if anything get the basic one in Nikon mount and then get a chipped adapter. Most people in here just use the Canon mount version though. Samyang also just released this lens with AE in Canon mount too, though it costs a bit more
