Buying the more expensive AE Nikon one is pointless, if anything get the basic one in Nikon mount and then get a chipped adapter. Most people in here just use the Canon mount version though. It's surprisingly quite a flexible lens on a crop sensor too. A little too telephone for landscapes but you can just about get away with it. It does admittedly take a while to get used to manual focus etc but im getting there. It's rather difficult through the tiny viewfinder on my 550D, good fun though Nice! it seems like you've nailed the focusing. 5D|Primes
