Confused about Speedlights for 50d...

Being new to Canon, I have no clue what flashes to get to use with the 50D. 420EX? Would be used for wedding receptions, outside fill, etc.

Help me...Im confused on what flashes to look t getting.

I think just about any of them will work, its all in what you can afford.
there are also some off brand options as well, just search this section, there's tons of threads on YongNuo and others.

Canon 580EXII, 430EXII are good choices (I have a 430EX and a 430EXII)

I also have a Nissin Di866 which has heaps of grunt (similar to the 580EXII), but around the price of a 430EXII..Works great with a 50D.
