Indoor or Outdoor photographs. Please help

I am going to be taking pictures of a 16yr old female in her dance costumes. She has five different costumes she would like to be photographed in and would like them to be outdoors.
I have never really seen any examples of these types of pictures taken outdoors.
I find the studio type shots so boring. Can anyone pass along some tips on how to do these types of photographs and posing.

Having looked at your website, there's some brilliant stuff there and you shouldn't be even asking this question.
With the amount of variety of shots you've got, you're more than capable of doing the job.
Be creative, stop second guessing yourself and do the shoot.

just wasn't sure if taking pictures with these flashy type costumes would be appropriate for outdoors. I have always seen them done indoors in studios with backdrop.
