I've been trading here over a year and I learn something new every day.

When you buy something from the B&S here and you are quoted a price "shipped", make sure you ask what method they plan to ship.

I've been waiting on an item for 2 weeks since it shipped because the seller sent it Media Mail. I don't even know what that is! lol. What I do know is that the Pony Express over the Sierras was faster (and probably easier to track)!

My stuff typically goes out Fedex 2 Day insured. So when you deal with me, well, there you go.

Ha, that sucks! I usually ship flat rate priority where it gets there within 3 days. I think media mail is the cheapest form of shipping and can take up to 3 weeks to get! What did u buy anyhow, smallish lens, large lens, camera body?

Hope you only bought books or DVD's. If it's from the east coast, it's gonna take a while. Media Mail is the old 'book rate'. Good luck and have patience.

I don't know how they got away with it. Media Mail is suppose to be for tapes (before there was dvds), dvd, books, cds, etc. The cheapest is USPS Parcel Post for all other items. With camera gear, they are usually over 1lb which automatically bumps it shipping to Priority Mail unless they request Parcel Post.

Yep, media mail is supposed to be for books etc. Someone always has to cheat the system. Hope your item is as described.
