The DLO (Digital Lens Optimizer) feature in DPP has gotten me convinced to shoot RAW... It is one feature that is unique to DPP.

I barely use DPP since moving to LR4.1. About the only time I make extensive use of DPP is when I shoot raw (not often) and need to batch convert for WB. The main reason I do that is simply because I already know how in DPP. Once I figure it out in LR4, I won't need DPP at all. I'll keep it on the computer, though and keep it updated. Who knows, it may be useful in a way I can't foresee just yet. Anyway, hard disk space is cheap.

Are you wanting to set the same WB to a batch of images and convert them to jpeg?

Easy peasy. Select all the images you want to have the same WB. The button at the bottom of the right side panel that normally says "Previous" will have changed to "Synch". Click on the little switch on the left end of the button and it changes again, to "Auto-Synch". Now anything you do to the on-screen image will also be done to all the selected images, including setting WB.

Thanks for the offers/tips guys. Right now I don't have much time to mess with learning new stuff. I am back in school preparing for a second career. I can retire in March and hope to qualified to look for employment in the nursing field shortly thereafter. PP skills will just have to wait a bit.
