I discovered this in another thread and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or have any experiences with these triggers: http://www.amazon.com …F8&qid=1305863509&sr=1-21 (external link)

They look just like the RF-602s but claim to have work with TTL and for only $50. Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong? It seems too good to be true so it probably is. They sell them at B&H and several other stores, but I can't find any reviews for them.

For those who don't like to click here's the description:

Product Description
Polaroid Tri-Mode Wireless Camera & Flash Remote

1- Wireless Flash Remote With Full TTL Functionability
2- Wireless Shutter Release With Both Full And œ Press Shutter Functions (auto focus, sleep mode, metering, burst mode etc)
3- Wireless Studio Strobe Trigger Controls Both Slave & Primary Lighting
Regardless if you choose our standard remote or three way camera flash remote, you'll be getting the benefit of expanded shooting options that will take your creativity to a whole new level. Our 3 way digital RF Camera/Flash Remote provides TTL flash control from up to 300 feet away as well as conventional camera remote functionality, remote (non TTL) /studio flash triggering and the ability to trigger up to 16 flash units simultaneously. In short, it's all the remote you need no matter the remote you need.

Our standard camera remote uses highly responsive IR technology to provide true control of your cameras shutter release and timer functions , so it's great for making sure you get in the picture-as well as situations where you'd prefer to get the picture without getting near the picture!

On or off camera, up close or up to 300 feet away, picture perfect results start when you put Polaroid in the picture.

They do look like them. But the products described are very different. This one promises 300m (which I believe is what the Cactus V5s claim?) and, of course, the elusive TTL functions in a budget trigger.

I'm assuming since no one has replied to this that no one has ever tried them? I'm very tempted now, just to see. I wish I had $50 to burn...
