Had a fun eshoot with this cute couple. The height difference was quite big so posing was a challenge.
All shot with 40D

7. The next two (and number 1) were shot blind with the camera way above my head. Such is the life of a 5'7" guy shooting a 6'6" guy.

Lovely series. Number 3 is my favourite. I just love this type of intimate moment.

thanks dood. This was one of their favourites too. Most couples love this type of shot so I TRY to get one for each shoot. But of course, sometimes I forget.

I like #5. Nice perspective. You did a good job posing them and making his size not dominating the whole picture.

Haha yeah, she was this tiny but absolutely adorable little girl, and he is this huge hulking guy (but a total softy). Made it interesting but we seemed to manage. The worst part was that it was hard to get the angles I wanted because I'm short and he was so tall! I did a lot of blind shooting. It makes me want to get a 60D for the articulating screen. But then I come back to reality and realize that my 40D always (and will continue to) rock it for me.

I have to admit I had many head scratching moments to figure out the poses, but I think it worked overall.

Busted! Ok, I'm actually 5'6" + 3/4". Average for an asian dude. Shrimpy as a North American.

its funny because i actually rented a 60D for my second camera for this past weekends wedding, just to kind of check it out.
I thought for sure i'd like the articulating screen for some over the head dancefloor shots,
but silly me, i'm just so use to doing it blind that in the heat of the moment, i didn't even think to utilize the screen haha

I really love #3. Excellent composition and DOF use. Good emotion there too.
