I saw that one, pretty expensive although it looks really nice. How do you like the fact that it attaches to the tripod mount? I'm not sure how well it would work with my Fastpack bags and I'm somewhat worried about the metal carabiner wearing against the camera body...although I could just unhook it when storing. Is the camera pretty secure?

Black Rapid r-strap FTW!

There, Fixed it for you ;) .

Get the Black Rapid r-strap. It is far superior to every other strap.

Yes, pricey, but appears well made and secure.. I have been using it on my 70-200 IS Mk II attached to the tripod ring, if walking i hold my hand on it to control swinging too much, I am pleased with the ability to just grab, slide camera up and shoot...it works as advertised. Wear on camera from carabiner, cant see how, i detach the strap when not in use. So far have not noticed any loosening of attachment.

I have the Sun-Sniper Pro Steel strap. no extra pieces to rub against your camera body like the Black Rapids.

Everyone has their own preference and what they consider the "best strap".

I second Black Rapid Strap as I owned a RS-4 and now a RS-7

^^^ This.

My gripped 50D with 300 f/4 L IS feels like it weighs nothing with that strap.

I don't know, this strap is kinda sexyy :) ;)
And it feels AMAZING!! Neoprene that forms to your neck, thick straps that wrap down your shoulder to your chest when camera is just chillin. And it has perforated padding for good ventilation and comfort.

Every time I show mine to somebody, let them try it on, they order one and love it. I must have "sold" 10 by now. Great strap. Unbelievably comfortable and adjustable.
