This is the first time I've seen one with EOS branding. Most of them have a small crumpler logo. They don't have any in leather. I would think leather straps would be undesirable due to them making you sweat when worn on skin, or am I missing something?

That's a crumpler industry disgrace branded with Canon logos. I think they were sold to pros through Canon Professional Services. EOS 5D Mark III

It was comfortable and distributed the weight of the camera well, but it was still a neckstrap which was a problem when you have more gear hanging from your neck. I recently picked up a BlackRapid RS-7 and I love it! It's so comfortable and heavy gear feels almost weightless. 5D | 50D | 60 f/2.8 Macro | 85 f/1.8 | 17-40 f/4L | 70-200 f/2.8L | 430EX

Here is a plain one. Rashkh wrote in post #12455887 This. I love mine. Brendo, is that an EOS branded Industry Disgrace? I must have it! Where can I get one? Yes it is an EOS Industry Disgrace. Got it off ebay, found it from a seller in Hong Kong Bokehlicious wrote in post #12455965 Ebay is the only place I've seen it correct ROGERWILCO357 wrote in post #12455972 is this the R strap? what is this one called if not? Crumpler Industry disgrace, link posted above. Rashkh wrote in post #12455975 This is the first time I've seen one with EOS branding. Most of them have a small crumpler logo. EDIT: That's very likely an Industry disgrace from Crumpler, possibly a limited edition. The website is in a response on the first page (too lazy to go link hunting). I have seen one that looked somewhat like leather but i doubt it was real. It was a couple months back. -Brendan B.

I'm always in search of just the right "one", and am hard to impress. A friend recommended this product to me. I looked at it online and thought, "well, that's interesting...", but did not buy it. Then, at his house a few weeks later, I picked up his camera and tried the strap - it was amazing. If you've ever put a DSLR with a long zoom around your neck, you know how cumbersome it can be. If the zoom is large enough, it can even appear you are in a goofy 'zoom envy' contest. More importantly, the camera - regardless of the lens - is always in the way. This is both akward and puts your gear at risk of damage, especially in tight spaces. With this product, which I immediately ordered (that night on my iPhone from Amazon), all of that changes. The camera hangs, perfectly balanced, at your side. It is right there when you need it - and gone when you do not. It is stable when you walk (even a brisk walk / run), and can be brought into position instantly when you need it. Go to their website and check out the videos. The build quality is also excellent. I don't know where the product is made, but it's design, engineering, and construction are top quality. I'm hard to impress, but these guys have done it. If you like to shoot - but don't enjoy a bouncing camera on your chest - buy this product. You will not be disappointed. Of the dozens of accessories I have purchased (chargers, covers, bags, straps, tripods, lights, reflectors), I can say that this is the most game changing product I've ever purchased. They have literally reinvented the camera strap. Strongly recommended. What he said. It is similar to the R-strap but looks like it may be made better. http://www.lu.ma/loop It looks like it is good. I have never tried a sling strap so i wouldn't know how they are supposed to feel. I'm not sure how that thinner comfort pad would feel when having some heavier gear attached to it. -Brendan B.

Carrying the weight of your gear on your shoulder is much more comfortable than around your neck. It distributes the weight over a larger area, so it feels lighter. 5D | 50D | 60 f/2.8 Macro | 85 f/1.8 | 17-40 f/4L | 70-200 f/2.8L | 430EX

I think I am going to grab a RS7, it isn't as much for the weight distribution but being able to shoot without pulling the camera on and off my shoulder. I also find I have to constantly readjust the strap on my shoulder as it slides off. 5D III, 24-105mm f/4 L, 135mm f/2 L, 70-200mm f/4 IS L, 580EX II
