I learned that profoto's air remote system is not fully functional with pro-b3 except pro-8a and the D1's.. but the new hensel 1200L power pack is working with profoto's air remote..
...I really like to get into profoto system but this is really annoying..
any opinions?

I really don't find it to be all that annoying and don't think it's a big deal only being able to trigger remotely.
It's a different story when you've got a monolight up on a boom but a pack won't be up high in most cases anyway and the adjustment tends to be faster on the dials on the pack anyway.

I guess it could be alright in most cases but being able to triggered from 300 meter distance it just doesn't make sense of only the triggering signal is transmitted over the radio.. all the pro-8a owners says air remote is fantastic, so what is different using pro-b3?..:-|
it's actually more important to have air remote functions outside the studio because the light can change very quickly..
...is anybody actually knows maybe profoto is going to upgrade these battery powered packs in the near future?..??? or is there any solution for this air remote usage?

I'm sure they will upgrade it eventually but the Pro-B3 is fairly new so I don't see it happening anytime soon.

If it's really that important to you, it might be worth looking at other options such as the Porty, or perhaps Elinchrom Rangers.
