Please post your Creative Examples of OUTDOOR Multiple / Single strobe Images

Perhaps we can start a new thread for outdoor flash images (Multiple or Single strobes - doesn't matter). At this time the images are all scattered across various threads and are difficult to find.

As i understand, even though outdoor flash photography is similar to indoor - but it has its own challenges in terms of balancing the ambient light with flash light and hence different.

I have seen some lovely examples by various members, including Pham, with detailed explanation on how the image was created, so why don't we start a thread where these can be posted - in my opinion it will be a great learning tool for all.

Looking forward to your images. Please do write about how the images was created.

I'm a bit of a newbie to posting here but here goes; The light on this one was a single yn560 at I cannot remember what power, in an ebay brolly-box feathered across the model at camera left just out of shot.
*ffs can't get the hang of posting images.

7D and Gripped 30D, 17-40 f4 L, 85 f1.8 Nikkor 50mm F1.4, Strobist kit growing all the time.

Not really mixing with ambient light since there basically wasn't any, but it was outside in a park so it counts.

Steve that is an interesting image you think that she is the main focal point but the road is also intriguing as well. Nice lighting as well too

Did you gel the lights? to get the deep blue in the sky behind her?

No, it was just nearly pitch black. That was one of the last shots I took before we had to give up. The camera stopped auto focusing due to no light.
