First of all .. what a great forum!! I just spent two hours going through threads and still have a ways to go! :D

My issue is ... I am trying to decide which picture to put on a 16x20 wrap around. I have several that "I" think might look nice, but after looking at them for two months my brain decided to leave the round table. I would love some of your expert advice and thoughts on this one ... thank you so much in advance!!

I would like to know how (or if) I should try and make this pop more ... if you think this shot would look ok on a large wrap around ... and your over-all take on this one for my project.

Welcome to POTN! You'll find lots of help here.

As to your question, by "wrap around" do you mean a gallery-wrapped canvas print? If that's the case, I think we would need to see the other pictures that are contenders for that privilege. Even then, considerations like the color of the room it will be in, the lighting that normally is in the room and other things will make a world of difference. I would suggest you print off an 8x10 of each, then take them to the room and compare them.

Oh, and go find your brain and tell it to come back to the table. Can't have it wandering off on its own like that. :)

Thank you for the nice welcome! :D

I was under the assumption that we could only post one picture at a time in the critique thread ... but I must be wrong. The wrap around is canvas and I'm really excited about getting them done. I have two that I have to fill by June 15th!

The rooms they will go in will depend on which ones I have done. They will be in my house, so I'm not too worried about them matching too much ... I have photographs all over the place and somehow they all seem to look nice :D My walls are mostly beige with earth tone themes.

This one is my grandson. I love it! I have the RAW file so I can re-crop if necessary. There would be more touch ups on this one because of his hat .. skin ... etc.

Out of these, I'd go with the second image (red hat). Work on the edits a little bit, and fix the torn seam on the front of the hat by cloning. Nice pose, nice expression, good composition. The others can go in the family photo album. Then again, it all boils down to what you want to do in the end.

+1 on the second photo. I really like the colors of the hat and jacket and he is adorable.
Also, welcome and great first post. This is a great forum for learning and sharing feedback.

I like 4 the best, and I think it seems the most "artsy" to hang on a wall.

One of my favorites too! I think I will get busy and start editing this one. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you, I think this one would look awesome on canvas.

Has anyone of you ever done this before? Wrap around canvas I mean :) Curious how you liked it ... or after having one, what type of pictures would look best on canvas? Landscape, people, animals, etc. I'm excited about getting them!

I have had several canvas done and they are beautiful. I have recently tried a service called Canvas on Demand. Their prices are reasonable and they always have some special pricing available. There are also coupon codes that you can find online. I believe Groupon had one recently. Good luck!
