How do one get such color intensity.

Im new to photography and i was wondering how do one get such color intensity like in the picture below.

Do they use photoshop and tweak something? If yes what do they tweak and how?
Im not lazy but i really would like to learn and master too.

You reduce the Contrast (notice the absence of bright whites and deep blacks in this shot!)

You also shift the Tint toward cyan (notice the tinge to the skin and white shirt!)

And perhaps increase color Saturation.

Frankly this shot looks horrible to me, but if that was the look that the person was after, then it met their goals. I just wonder if it is the posting on Flickr of a badly done shot by a rank amateur!

Most likely done in post processing.

I have a preset in silver efex pro that mimics that effect. I never really found a use for it yet.

That's why I was wondering what Web browser the OP is using.

If those color look intense then the web browser doesn't have color management, and/or, the monitor is in need of some serious calibration.
