Anyone tried optical zoom during video with CHDK on S90/S95?

I read it's possible to use the optical zoom during video on the S90/S95, when using CHDK.
Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Does it work ok?

Yep it works and you can refocus too, one of the main reasons I've installed CHDK on my S95..

Can you try and describe how loud the zoom is?
I read somewhere there's an option in CHDK to mute the video while zooming. Is it true?
