I've been asked to shoot a 2012 calendar for a local community group - and I've never had to print one before ... any recommendations for someone who can print a good quality one up?

I normally use SmugMug for printing, they don't seem to offer calendars. I've also ordered things like books through Apple / Aperture before, but they also don't seem to have an offering.

Any recommendations?

You can order a calendar from MyCanvas through SmugMug :). Just load the photos into a gallery on your SmugMug page then MyCanvas will import them in. Check it out - http://smugmug.mycanvas.com …cts/Custom-Calendars.aspx (external link)

I printed a few calendars last christmas. Purchased some inexpensive software. I wasn't too happy with the results because the software only supported 8.5x11 paper. Looked on the web at several places to find a house that would print larger. Found that MyPublisher.com will do a larger size. I placed an order and the results were good and fast. The calendar is 20x13 opened vs 11x17. But the price is a little high $22.95 each.

Yowzer - yeah, MyCanvas was $20 cost, which is a bit much for the purposes of this calendar (they want money to go back into the community, and the cost would be prohibitive.

Still on the search!

Check out LuLu. I ordered from them a few years ago and got good results. Their standard calendar is going for $12.49 as I make this post.

That looks much more promising, especially their bulk order pricing - thank you!

Two years running I've used Vistaprint. My cost has been under $8.00 and the calendars are very well done.
