You just have to learn how to work with the light that here. In the old days daylight film and a 30m filter would get me close and even shutters speeds like 1/8, 1/15/ 1/30/ 1/60 and 1/125 but nothing faster than 1/125.

The B&W was shot with the MM and the 35 lux FLE

These last ones were not shot with Leica. I will eventually switch completely over to Leica M.

congrats and the CV 40mm 1.4 is one sweet lens, even if you get a new lens you'll probably keep it as the CV lenses are compact

i do love the lens, just want something tighter now, was used to the 53mm equivalent focal length on the m8.2

my 40 is with me for the long haul, may not be a popular decision, but i did the file down method for it to bring up the 35mm frame lines

Sorry if I could not help it and must write this (So be ready for smile):

1- So is this before or after 25 years?!

2- Did your camera wear its Mask, Filter, in OR?:D

3- On image #1, the Dr is pointing to left upper abdomen when xray is a chest xray, then both him and RN are looking at much higher point possibly heart. As viewer I am confused or accepting its only a pose to take the image and nothing really going on (Do you remember that President's pictures when reading to school kid, with reverse book kept in hand)?:o

On the serious side, very nice images. Taking picture of OR is very difficult specially from area of surgery due to extreme of range of dynamic range. You did great.

Thanks and I have more graphic images of the open heart case where the OR nurse is reaching for the jump starter.

It was an aneurysm on the aorta just above the aortic heart valve. The aneurysm was huge and very close to rupture and damaged the aortic heart valve. They had to repair the aorta and replace the aortic heart valve.

I wish I could afford a leica one day...

Their M camera, would it really be able to go head to head with a 1D or something?

Objectively, there's nothing you can do with leica which you can't do with a canon... and you can do more with canon.

But rangefinder as an interface may invite a different style which you might like.
